Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advanced are you accepting bookings?
Currently, up to one year in advanced.
Can you take song requests?
Yes ! For weddings, we encourage you to choose your songs for:
Aisle/entrance song, signing of the registry, ceremony exit, first dance.
We ask for at least 4 weeks notice to learn new songs.
Do you travel for weddings and events?
Yes! We often travel throughout Greater Sydney, including The Blue Mountains, Hunter Valley, Newcastle, Campbelltown, Southern Highlands - and sometimes, further! Locations further out from Sydney will incur an additional fee for travel time/expenses (e.g. if overnight stay is required.)
What sound equipment/ PA System do you provide?
Our PA sound system features QSC K12 speakers, renowned in the industry for their exceptional sound quality and room-filling capability. For events without power, we utilize our Bose S1 Pro Plus speakers, offering top-notch sound quality and up to 11 hours of battery life.
For larger-scale events we liaise with the AV team.
Are you able to perform for my wedding ceremony is there is no access to power?
Yes! we have a high quality battery powered speaker which allows us to set up almost anywhere and deliver a full sound.
Can you perform for my wedding ceremony without amplification/use of a sound system?
(No speakers allowed - Venue restrictions)
Please be sure to check if your venue has any sound restrictions, and we can discuss your options.
Our acoustic duo can/have performed unamplified for a few micro-weddings in quiet places (5-10 guests) however, in most cases the music will not be heard well enough over larger crowds of guests and background noise. Where amplification is strictly prohibited, we recommend our strings/instrumental groups (e.g. string duo, trio or quartet, etc).
We also offer pre-recorded renditions of your wedding song(s) which you may be able to play through your celebrant’s speaker, and then use for your wedding video/photo montages as well.
